Whenever i think of egg puffs i feel nostalgic about diploma days & my chweet senior kamali..she is charming, she is hilarious just like me so that we could make jokes that know one but me & she would find funny , we laugh a lot ..i miss you sister.. we used to buy egg & veg puffs near to our hostel which is located in police station road. In the evening times we enjoyed those puffs along with our hot (water) tea & you know hrs of pointless talk. Here comes the recipe..!
Ingredients :
Boiled eggs - 4
Frozen pastry - 1
onion - 2
green chillies - 6
turmeric pdr - 1/2 tsp
asafoetida - a pinch
salt - as req
oil - as req
Method
- Thaw the pastry as instructed
- Peel & cut the eggs vertically in two halves
- In the pan pour oil
- Saute the onions, green chilly
- Add salt,turmeric, asfoedita
- Divide the pastry as equal parts
- Apply one or two spoons of masala
- Place the egg over the masala & cover the dough
- Preheat oven for 400 deg
- Brush the baking sheet & place the puffs
- Bake it for 15 mints , until puffs are slight brown..Enjoy !
