Egg puffs

Whenever i think of egg puffs i feel nostalgic about diploma days & my chweet senior kamali..she is charming, she is hilarious just like me so that we could make jokes that know one but me & she would find funny , we laugh a lot ..i miss you sister.. we used to buy egg & veg puffs near to our hostel which is located in police station road. In the evening times we enjoyed those puffs along with our hot (water) tea & you know hrs of pointless talk. Here comes the recipe..!

  

Ingredients : 
                     Boiled eggs       -        4
                     Frozen pastry   -         1
                     onion                -         2 
                     green chillies     -         6
                     turmeric pdr     -        1/2 tsp
                     asafoetida        -        a pinch
                     salt                  -        as req
                     oil                    -        as req

                                  
Method
  • Thaw the pastry as instructed
  • Peel & cut the eggs vertically in two halves 
  • In the pan pour oil 
  • Saute the onions, green chilly 
  • Add salt,turmeric, asfoedita 
  • Divide the pastry as equal parts
  • Apply one or two spoons of masala 
  • Place the egg over the masala & cover the dough
  • Preheat oven for 400 deg
  • Brush the baking sheet & place the puffs
  • Bake it for 15 mints , until puffs are slight brown..Enjoy !

Dinner Rolls

These dinner rolls are easy to make & most of the ingredients are handy. i love these pav with my tea if  you like it crispy, preheat oven to 325 deg  bake for 12 - 15 minutes or until it turns light brown. You can try these with any type of burger buns but not with regular breads.




Ingrediants :

                          Yeast                     -     1 pkt (activated)
            All purpose Flour                 -     1 cup
                        Milk                         -    1 cup
                        Egg                          -    2 eggs
                         Salt                         -    1 tsp
                        Sugar                       -    2  tsp
                     Olive oil                      -    3  tsp

Method :

  • Activate  yeast by adding 3 tsp of lukewarm water. Set aside for 10 minutes
  • Stir with  rest of the ingredients except flour
  • Finally add the four
  • knead until smooth, let stand for 2-3 hrs to raise double the amount
  • Divide in to equal portion keep with 2 inch apart
  • Cover it & let it raise again ( 45 min to 1 hr )
  • Place in preheated 400 deg oven. Back for 30 minutes.
