My kid not gained much weight when he was in India. So when we came back here my doctor advised me to give tsp of creamy (or crunchy) peanut butter daily as a snack, fortunately he loves it.
Peanut contains mono-saturated fats which is good for health..Peanuts are good source of antioxidants, vit C & D..they are heart healthy nuts too..moreover what kind of childhood it could be without these yummy peanuts..me tried this cookie recipe from Vahchef which is turned out really good, here comes the recipe..
Ingredients
Dry roasted peanut - 1 cup
Maida flour - 2 cup
Sugar - 1 cup
Raisins - 1/4 cup
Butter/Dalda - 1/4 cup (4 tsp)
Egg - 1
Baking pdr - 1tsp
Milk - as req
Method
- Blend the peanuts
- Preheat oven for 150 deg
- In bowl add butter, sugar, baking pdr mix well
- Add egg mix it then add flour to mix
- Finally add blended peanuts & raisins
- Add milk as required to make a soft dough
- The dough must be like gulab jamun dough ( not too dry or wet )
- Divide in to equal portion
- Bake at 150 deg for 15 mints or till the edges change the color slightly.. Enjoy !
